Born and raised in Havelock, NC Samantha started gymnastics at the age of 6 at her local YMCA. She competed in the USAG JO program through level 9 at Rose Gymnastics Training Center. Upon graduating High School, Samantha attended East Carolina University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She has held jobs as a retail manager and daycare instructor in the years before she married and started a family.
