USA Tiny Tumblers Programs

TUMMY TIME

At USA Tiny Tumblers, we understand the importance of tummy time for infants. By allowing infants to spend supervised time on their stomachs, they begin to develop vital muscles and coordination essential for later physical activities. Tummy time plays a pivotal role in strengthening the baby’s neck, back, and shoulder muscles, which are essential for motor skill development. By providing a safe and engaging environment for infants to explore during tummy time, we contribute to their overall physical and cognitive development, building a strong foundation from the very start.  Our Tummy Time program runs for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of OPEN PLAY time where you and your baby can learn and explore in your own pace.

CURIOUS CRAWLERS

Our “Curious Crawlers” program runs for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of OPEN PLAY time where you and your curious crawler can learn and explore in your own pace. This program is specifically tailored for infants aged 7 to 12 months who are not yet walking. This program is meticulously designed to support the developmental milestones of rolling, sitting, crawling, and overall muscle strengthening, laying the foundation for their walking journey.

In addition to building strength and coordination, we also introduce activities that enhance fine motor skills. Through guided exercises, we help infants with tasks such as grasping objects, transferring objects between hands, and engaging in playful activities that promote hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Our goal is to create a fun and stimulating environment that encourages infants to explore and develop essential skills.

LITTLE WANDERERS

Our “Little Wanderers” program runs for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of OPEN PLAY time where you and your little wonderer can learn and explore in your own pace.  This program is carefully designed for toddlers aged 10 to 18 months who are venturing into the world on their own two feet.  This stage marks a significant developmental leap as these curious little wonderers eagerly engage with their surroundings, touching, and climbing as they discover the world around them.  Our baby-safe gym provides a padded and secure environment where toddlers can freely roam and quench their thirst for exploration.  Here, we support and guide toddlers in walking more confidently, learning to climb safely, and continuing to strengthen their muscles, laying the groundwork for crucial gross motor skill development.  Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where toddlers can thrive, grow, and build confidence as they embark on this exhilarating phase of physical and cognitive development.

At this stage, we also dedicate substantial time to fostering fine motor skills, addressing abilities such as pinching, grabbing, pointing, hand-eye coordination, and more, thereby empowering toddlers to advance and flourish in all aspects of their development.

MINI EXPLORERS

Our “Mini Explorers” program runs for 50 minutes and is designed for children aged 15 months to 3 years, a stage where they are eager to discover and engage in various physical activities such as dancing, jumping, and climbing.  Although this is still a parent-assist class, at this stage, we progressively transition to a circuit-based curriculum, where we begin instructing them in the basics of gymnastics, including forward rolls, cartwheels, and body shapes, to develop their coordination and agility.  Utilizing equipment like balance beams and bars, we focus on enhancing balance, hand-eye coordination, strength, spatial awareness, and body control.

Additionally, as their vocabulary and ability to express themselves expand, we incorporate colors, shapes, numbers, and letters into the curriculum. While children primarily engage in parallel play at this stage, our program gradually encourages associative play as they progress through the class. Our aim is to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow both physically and cognitively.

TINY TUMBLERS

Our “Tiny Tumblers” program runs for 50 minutes and is tailored for children aged 3-4 years, an age marked by the joy of hopping, skipping, dancing, and jumping.  In this program, we aim to capitalize on their natural exuberance and energy by incorporating these activities into our curriculum. We continue to prioritize the development of strength, balance, coordination, agility, spatial awareness, and more, fine-tuning each skill to align with their advancing abilities. As part of our approach, we introduce age-appropriate obstacles into their circuits and continue to challenge them on the balance beam and bars. Additionally, we incorporate age-appropriate exercises such as squats, sit-ups, and push-ups to foster ongoing muscle strength all while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere through the use of songs, dances, games, and more.  Our primary goal is to promote the development of gross and fine motor skills while instilling a love for gymnastics and sports as a whole.

Above all, our emphasis is on creating a fun and supportive environment where children can thrive and truly enjoy their learning experience.

JR GYMNASTS

Our Jr. Gymnast class, designed for 5-6 year olds, runs for 50 minutes and offers an excellent introduction to the sport of gymnastics.  Through our proven curriculum, children not only have fun but also develop coordination, strengthen skeletal muscles, and build self-confidence.  Our energetic and friendly instructors focus on teaching loco-motor skills, sensory-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and developmental gymnastics skills.

Furthermore, we emphasize the use of visual spotting techniques to lay a strong foundation for future complex skills. In addition to skill development, the class provides an opportunity for children to make friends and work collaboratively with their peers.

***When you enroll in any of our classes, you’ll also get free admission to our open play sessions throughout the month. This provides you and your child with the chance to visit our facility and play at your own speed during specific open play hours.***
